kateoplis: 1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me. 2. I wish I hadn’t worked so hard. 3. I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings. 4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends. 5. I wish that I had let myself be happier. Read on.

Oh, thank goodness
Bonnaroo tickets purchased. SO much easier than last weekend. Still a bummer to be out an extra $20 from repeatedly having my third tier tickets released, but whatever, I am very, very content right now.

So, aside from running the Tumblr for my company, I’ve been assigned to figure out Pintrest for us. Naturally, I readily agreed to the project, but the thing is I’m not really into Pintrest. We were talking about a report that said something like 97% of Pintrest users are women, and how to make ourselves marketable to women on Pintrest and I was just contributing ideas and I think they...

ellenrachel.: INFJ + counseling. →
ellenrachel: INFJs, what are your experiences with counseling (i.e., therapy)? I found a few threads on the matter, which seem to agree that counseling may not be for everyone. I have worked with two therapists previously, though I did not greatly enjoy either experience. Granted, I was young— 13— and… If you click on your blog title on your dash and then click on “settings”...

Okay, seriously
it really annoys the hell out of me when people complain about going without something for Lent. The whole point of Lent is sacrifice and repentance. There’s a reading at each Ash Wednesday Mass about how it doesn’t matter how much charity you give to or how much you sacrifice if you’re running around bragging about it to everyone, that God wants us to  fast and sacrifice quietly...

Her: She's like the female Hitler!!!!
Me: Hitler rose to political power and forced countries into his empire and started a genocide that killed over eleven million people by moderate estimations and caused World War II that killed over sixty million people, which happens to be the deadliest military conflict in human history. World War II also spawned tense relationships with the US and the USSR, which caused the Cold War which caused proxy wars in places like Vietnam, Korea, and Afghanistan. Afghanistan relations from the Cold War are the direct predecessors for our current predicament in the Middle East and Americans' rampant fear/misinformation of Muslims. Margaret Sanger made an international nongovernment organization that gives women cheaper access to healthcare and birth control. I don't think they're really all that comparable at all.

Bitches' Guide To Etiquette: TRIGGER WARNING: RAPE →
bitchesguidetoetiquette: Anonymous asked: I have a friend who studies law and we got in an argument regarding rape the other day. He claimed that most cases never get to court because they find out that the woman exaggerated or made it up (or something like that, I’m not good with the legal terms he used). Could this… Read this shit. Read it now. If I see a “if you don’t...

This sucks. I’m on a freeway in Ichikawa, Japan, heading towards an evacuation area, which I feel like must have some kind of transportation, but I’m going to have to go home soon and will lose my progress D: ETA: NOOOOOO It’s not letting me move anymore and I saw a sign for going towards Tokyo  ETA again: I think it must’ve just frozen on me, because it won’t let...

I’m just so frustrated by how stupid this process is. I got 30 error messages. I finally get to the part where I’m putting in my address, and it times out. It times out because they added steps for trying to add extra things I don’t need, and the traffic of the site is so intense right now that each step took minutes to get through. Then, it doesn’t let you advance without...
